On this page you will find details of work currently in progress.  The main project at the moment continues to be 'Phonatory Patterns in chorister and non-chorister boys undergoing adolescent voice change and the ability of choir directors to assess healthy and non-healthy treble singing'.  This is currently funded by Edge Hill University's Research Excellence Framework Development Fund.  It is a large project involving over 1000 subjects and likely to continue for a further two years. You can read the interim report here.

'Lads and Dads' is the provisional name for a new project arising out of a collaboration established with Professor Martin Mills of the University of Queensland, developed during my visiting professorial scholarship during February 2011.  It is the natural successor to earlier work on attachment behaviour and role modelling, and takes place within the context of gender equity and the boys' achievement debate.
